I love people and believe each of us is uniquely created and inherently valuable. I also believe we live in a messy and broken world and can struggle deeply. Each of us has a story that matters, and I long for those I interact with to feel seen and heard and to know that they are not alone as they take courageous steps toward hope, healing, and growth.

My own journey has been a winding path through a variety of diverse settings–campus ministry, the school environment, homeschooling our children, foster parenting, and supporting families in need of some extra input and attention as well as those who have children with disabilities. These experiences have shaped my understanding of the complexities families face, the incredible resilience people possess, and the truth that transformation is truly possible.

I received my Masters in Social Work from the University of Missouri- St. Louis and am currently a Licensed Master Social Worker. My husband and I moved to St. Louis from the West Coast over 20 years ago and live in the city. We have three fabulous, mostly grown kids and one goofy dog.
