Working through heartache, shame, and the wounds that this broken world can leave is hard, however so is not facing them. You, taking this step to reach out for help is courageous and will be worth it. I would love the privilege to go through that journey with you. I have walked alongside teens in residential and foster care settings and have also served as a caseworker for adults with mental health disabilities. My heart is for people to be fully seen and help them to reach their goals of wholeness and flourishing. Bringing people’s shame into the light brings new levels of wholeness. I lived a lot of my life avoiding my own personal hurts. I know how damaging it can be to let secrets stay hidden in the darkness. I believe this is why counseling has been laid on my heart.
I have a passion for working with teens and adolescents as they manage changes in life, anxiety, depression, grief, and foster/adoption related concerns. I would love to be able to connect with parents to be a resource as they are guiding their children. I would also be honored to walk with adults as they process grief and loss.
I recently graduated with my Masters from Covenant Theological Seminary and am so grateful to have the privilege of continuing with CrossRoads. I was born and raised in St. Louis, so if you want to talk about how the Cardinals are amazing, Ted Drewes is the best place for ice cream, or that Imos is actually wonderful pizza, I am your girl! I look forward to working with you.
