I have always been drawn to understanding people’s stories. Over the years, I have become increasingly convinced that many of the struggles we carry – anxiety, shame, burnout, relationship patterns, or simply the feeling of being “not enough” – make more sense when we begin to understand the experiences that shaped us. My hope is to provide a calm, compassionate space where clients feel safe enough to slow down, explore their stories with curiosity, and discover new ways of relating to themselves, others, and God.

I believe healing involves the whole person. Our thoughts, emotions, relationships, bodies, and spiritual lives are deeply connected, and growth often comes as we gently begin to notice those connections. Rather than rushing to fix problems, I enjoy walking alongside clients as they develop greater self-awareness, recognize patterns that may no longer be serving them, and move toward lives that are more grounded, authentic, and aligned with their values.

I am currently completing my counseling internship through Covenant Theological Seminary under the supervision of licensed professional counselors at CrossRoads Counseling Centers. I previously earned a Master of Arts in Counseling from Webster University and have additional experience in crisis intervention, psychology, and trauma-informed care. I am also a Certified Trauma-Informed Yoga Instructor and Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200), experiences that have deepened my appreciation for the connection between the nervous system, emotional health, and whole-person healing.

I especially enjoy working with adult women navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, burnout, relationship concerns, family-of-origin issues, grief and loss, self-worth, boundaries, and emotional regulation. I have a particular interest in supporting individuals touched by adoption, including adoptees, birth parents, and others carrying the effects of early relational wounds. I am interested in neuroscience, attachment, family-of-origin work, shame, self-compassion, and the nervous system. When appropriate and desired by the client, I thoughtfully integrate faith into the counseling process, believing that healing often includes growing into a fuller understanding of who we are and the hope available to us in Christ.

My focus is to help people experience whole-person healing by understanding their story, reconnecting with themselves, and living more fully from their identity, values, and faith. My aim is help people figure out who God says they are versus who the world says they are.

Outside the counseling office, you’ll often find me teaching trauma-informed yoga, enjoying time outdoors, SUPing on nearby rivers and lakes, creating mindfulness and wellness resources, traveling (especially places near the ocean), reading, supporting live local music, or spending time with my husband, our four adult children, our growing family (including four grand-dogs). I consider it a privilege to walk alongside people during seasons of struggle and growth, and I look forward to meeting you wherever you find yourself on your journey.
