Biblical Counseling
Our major contribution at CrossRoads Christian Counseling is to provide counseling that brings hope and help in this journey of becoming more - helping people live the way they were intended. To achieve this, we provide biblically based counseling grounded in the following principles:
Our Need
The Bible says we are made for unbroken relationship. Stamped in His image, we are "relationally dependent" on Him for life. God means for us to thrive in relationship, our longings fulfilled through families, friends and Himself.
Our Rebellion
We are gloriously made, but at war with our God-made needs. We turn an angry fist against our relational dependence and live in self-protection with our families, friends and God. We throttle God-made longings with man-made substitutes: narcissism, addictions, immorality and idolatry.
Our Choice
God leaves the choice to us - to live within the perfect design of the Creator - or not. Christian counseling looks at our need, rebellion and choice with an eye on biblical relationship, dignity, self-protection, and grace. Christian counseling works to discover the good longings of our hearts and how God means for us to live.
Our Services

We work with couples and families to struggle well through the issues of communication, conflict resolution, trust and sexual relationships.
Individual Counseling
We provide help and hope to individuals who experience difficulties with stress or anxiety, and bring freedom to struggles like depression, codependency and addiction.
Abuse Counseling
We seek to restore what has been broken through the tragedy of physical, emotional
and sexual abuse.
Youth Counseling
We provide care and guidance for children and adolescents as they walk through issues such as acting out, transitions and stepfamilies.
